damn u have a sponser there are kids in oregon a lot better no disrespect
  • + 8
Having a sponsor isn't all about going fast. Being sponsored is all about being an approachable person that gets the name out about a company. You could be real fast but be a complete dick, and not be sponsored.
  • + 1
And someone who is going to progress and continue taking it to the next level.
  • + 1
true, its just I saw a 16 year old named carson from bend, OR on this site throwing down huge tricks and he doesnt have a sponser.
  • + 1
Nice one mate! Good to see you are getting more familiar with the camera and angles. Liked the time-lapse at then end. Also a note to the haters. You don't have to be fast to be sponsored. The team Joe is on supports riders of all ability's. So long as you're keen and have fun on your bike then that's all that matters.

Cheers Henry! Yea, getting a lot more into it all now Smile
Yep, all about having fun!
Woodlands was great today! I broke my camera, but it was a fun race!
  • + 1
Ah didn't know you were off down there today, did you ride at all? Oh crap how did you break it? Fixable?
  • + 1
Nah, I was meant to be filming it, wish I'd ridden now. Not much point videoing a little race like that because there's not enough real quick riders and gnarly bits of course to film. The Focus is stuck so I have to get it serviced, kinda sucks, but i'm glad it happened today than at a National or at Fort Bill WC!
  • + 1
What was the race like then? Many riders? Thought Adam and Olly were hitting it up.
  • + 1
yeah there was almost 100 there I'd say. Adam was there but no sign of Olly, was quite a local turnout though. all those french kids were there. Had a little goon jump competition at the end of the race runs, Joe and the crew did some massive stem shags, was a laugh!

Nice, first of the new Haldon I've seen. Looks good. What's the song?

You've gotta bring that camera to O.P in the summer Wink
  • + 2
Yep, they've been working hard up there. A BIG landing for a new jump, and they've re-built a few others. The Song is... Metric - The Twist And yes! I will indeed.
  • + 1
Sweet. Any suggestions on what to build? Always looking for new ideas.

I'll get down there at some point. Looks like they're a busy bunch. (props guys)

I've got a feeling you'll be getting a few vod's when you get comfortable with it. Beer

Well, personally I'm a DH guy! Haha, but stepdowns are great fun, I love ski jumps where you can just go further and further on too! Yep they are, they're there every Sunday and most Saturdays building. Thanks! I hope so!

come to Utah and ride some real trails. I live in the biking capital of the world buddy.this riding is shit
  • + 3
Utah? Biking capital of the world? Don't kid yourself mate... How many lift accessed trails in Utah?
  • + 3
easy timbo, check out his josh bender hucks Wink www.pinkbike.com/video/111392
  • + 2
Wow dude. There's nothing here that even compares to that.
  • + 1
how many people go to England to ridebikes? and pretty much all the ski resorts here do biking in the summer. then you have moan, virgin, and redbull rampage
  • - 2
oh ya guess where josh bender does 90% of his riding. UTAH
  • + 2
guess what, benders back is fucked and he cant ride proper again...........
  • + 2
Guess how many Pro/successfull downhiller's come out of Utah...? Or even the U.S.A in general, then compare it to the number that come from the U.K. Come back and tell me what you find out?
  • - 1
that's not what I'm trying to prove. I'm proving that Utah has the best places to ride. duh
  • + 1
I don't need to prove that you're wrong. Hey dude. How many people visit Utah every year for biking compared to Whistler and the Alps?
  • + 8
Your contradicting yourself... if these amazing places exsist, there would be some decent riders being produced. And if they do exist they are being wasted. Also, your judging the UK's riding from a short vid of a local rider built trail in devon. 'how many people visit britian to ride?' - Fort william is a very popular destination, as are many of the welsh trail centres, hamsterly, Gawton, innerleithen, molfre (just to name a few)...ect. Ok so utah has the terrain for hucking, but its not downhill country. I dont remember the last time Utah hosted a UCI event? And i can count the american pro's on one hand. Also, who are you, your just the average 21 year old, your barley a rider, i mean, have you even raced? Half the local boys here in the Uk would show you up. So do us all a favor, its wearing out my keyboard, Drop it.

  • + 1

  • + 1

  • + 1
Utah has all terrain not for just hucking. all the ski resorts have awesome single track where I do my races. I'm guessing you've never been here.
  • + 1
