I do this also! I love it! Falling feels so soft

We do it without special tires on a ice forest route! The speed isn't too much yet, since we are... somewhat starters. Not bad!

No, it isn't sped up. Once you shovel all the loose snow away, you get a nice crisp grip once riding your stud tyres.
