This is both the best, and the worst chain guide I've seen. Maybe you could feed you chain through a notched PVC pipe to reduce the rube and wear on the zip tie, and keep the with theme.

first day - all day, second day about 3 hours, only needed to replace the tie that was rubbing against the chain
