 im sorry but im never going to claim to be a season pro or any thing but it would make sense to pre hop the first bit before the road, pump that slope then pre hop the next bit, so you jump OVER the really slippery and rocky/rooty bit, and makes your run faster XD

 the best line was to drop off to the left of the steep before the fire road then jump over the roots to the right. but trust me, that part of the track was rediculously hard.
