The Making of a 100% contour video

We set out on a rainy NW day to shoot with a couple guys from Evil Bikes to shoot a video using all contour cameras lining a trail, synced with the new GPS helmet camera.

Sweet Andy, i tried doing some filming with my little flip cam, not only did it suck, but i got dirt in it and ruined it.....fail.

did you film the contours with other contours?

we used the panasonic gh1 for the outside filming, since it was my buddy who was doing that sort of stuff. The new contour + is way rad, and I would have filmed the outside stuff with that have it had been out when this was filmed.

How did you do the sync with walkie talkie thing?

We used the walkie talkies as an audio slate, so that I could sync tracks later in post
