Morzine 2011 - France. GoPro Downhill on a Transition TR250, Santa Cruz V10 Carbon and Giant Glory

 Thanks mate! The road gap took me a while. I've been for a few years now and each time bottled it last minute. This year was a case of straight off it, no messing around and now I wonder why I bottled it each time before! The gap jump was just down to crazy speed, you enter the last corner into it so fast there's no way you could short it so just went for that one! Road gap is sooo much fun!

Yeah, decided most of Morzine riding is about just hitting it, if you think about it too much you don't do it... Was sooo pleased to have done the road and river gap! Air Voltage this year me thinks!

Been with the lads the last two years in a row.. Have been in july two years running .. Luke a friend of mine was out last years on a TR 250 in yellow aswell.

 Did you hit all the features on Air Voltage? They look HUGE on vid which means they're probably even bigger in the flesh! I did see a couple of other TR250s in yellow whilst I was there. We normally do the first week of July. Yeah, been a few times now and love it!! May be see you next year mate, shame about this year?!

 Sweet, you'll love it! The first segment is over at Les Gets, go up the main lift Chavannes, then go sort of straight in front of you (there's another part of the mountain directly ahead of you) down towards the chairlift you can see going up to the top of that mountain and the park is just off to the side of that. You'll see it when you're there! Enjoy!!

 Mate you'd rail it out there! It's great trails, just a case of getting to know them a bit. I've been 3 years now but could live out there, love the trails!

 Thanks Sam, your riding improves by the minute in Morzine. The length of the trails lets you dial in your riding as you ride. No pushing up to hit that line again, take the lift up and pin the trail again. Doing that a few times does wonders for your riding. Thinking of heading back for a long weekend early August if you're interested!

 Thanks. Yeah the TR250 rocks. It helps that I've got amazingly plush Marzocchi 66 RC3 forks, they eat anything and feel more like 8" forks, but the bike it amazing over any terrain, such fun to ride! You're looks epic in purple, sooo nice! Enjoy!

 Les Gets is f*cking wicked! Did you find all the hidden lines off the main red run?

 Yeah, we didn't ride them much on this trip, but we went back again end of season and hit those lines. They're awesome aren't they! Love Les Gets, morzine and Chatel.... way too much fun on a bike!

 Haha i know. Dont forget Linderets! I know right i fond my self just smiling to myself half way down trails. When abouts did you go because the breaking bumps were so bad this year, especially les gets main line

 Oh yes, Les Linderetes is also great, love some of the trails down from Avoriaz!! It's epic, the whole place! This was filmed in the first week of July so the breaking bumps weren't too bad at this time of year, we also went 9th to 11th September when the breaking bumps were beyond belief, worst I've ever seen, and the stutter bumps were horrific. You know, those little bumps down highspeed sections where the tyres create bumps that throw your hands off the bars! Running my 66 RC3 Tis has made a huge difference, I can actually ride without arm pump and aching fingers for once! Wish they'd maintain the trails a bit more, but guess it's a huge area to manage.

 Ah yeah didnt ride Avoriaz much this year. I know i love it, going back next year for sure. Yeah how do those speed bumps get there, do people like jam on the breaks as soon as they start going fast to make them on purpose. Need to hit the chatel road gap aswell

 Yeah ive got a mate who has some 66 RC3s on his rocky mountain and he loves him

 The alps are stunning, it's steep, fast and pretty rough but it's great for building skills and the scenery is enough to send you off the trail! The food's amazing as well!

 Thanks mate, it was soooooo good to be back out there, even if yet again we didn't have time to cover everything we wanted to. Amazing where 5 days of riding goes when you're having fun. I feel a long weekend return trip being planned!

How was the weather there? Im hoping it wont be like last year where it poured with rain 4 out of the 6 days we were there

 Mate, we were sooo lucky with the weather. Every time I've been before it's been wet almost every afternoon / evening. We had blue skies and sunshine just about every day. It rained slightly on the last day but that was it. A bit dusty but amazingly quick! Did you go end of August last year? I did a long weekend mid August and had 2 out of 3 days with rain... When are you going this year?

 Awesome place isn't it! You were there pretty early in the season! You've got some awesome photos in your profile from there, puts my riding to shame!

 Yeah we were, there seemed alot more bikers in your video than when we were there. haha cheers!

 Yeah, it got worse with the last day being muppets day out, people that shouldn't be riding bikes, let alone riding in the Alps brake dragging their way down every trail. It's goint to be a mess by August!
