So i heard. I tried a 2008 one last time i was at Blue, and it was unbeileivable, so i bet everything on the line that the newer ones just kick butt. Such a diffrent feel though for me to get used to, im just too much of an invert fan. So stoked to head back up to Blue now, its been 3 weeks since my last visit, and im anxious to go back up and hit Showcase for first time and everything else again.

haha that didnt sound good at all. Hope no serious damage either than the seat. Was it that you just bottomed out, cause your front fork looks like it.

honestly that fork is so smooth i didnt even realize it had bottomed until I checked the dust lines. The whole bike just completely bottomed

maybe you should look into getting some dual crowns haha Ive come close to bottoming my Shivers on the very same jump. Mustve boosted pretty hard-core that time, you got air for sure

Well as much as I like that fork, the crown creaks like an old wooden floor when I ride so its most likely getting replaced under warranty. the price difference this year between a 66 and 888 is only $100 so I was thinking of upgrading while I was at it

Theres an 2008 888 with 2011 internals going for $650 here on PB. I was looking at it just in case for next season, but its an RC3 im pretty sure. For sure if id upgrade itd be an 888 though, nothing but Marzocchi for front forks. My Shivers so smooth for an invert and its still kicking after 8 years of its release.

Dude the 2010 and newer zocchis are just friggin buttery. Mine is the RC3 version and it is just stupid smooth. If we ever meet up, you can try it and see
