Well shot, and well ridden, but all of this skidding around corners is getting superfluous, especially when it appears to be just ornamental.

theres a difference between skidding and drifting, and this guy drifts pretty damn well, saw him skid for a few seconds too but hey man hes a good rider and noone wants to open up a dictionary when theyre watching videos on pinkbike

Shout out to justmeandmystinky and I am gonna have to agree with the whole superfluous words! if your not drifting you must not be going fast enough

Your skills are excellent man, no question about it. I just see it, skidding, as a trend promulgated by video pros, not as a weakness to your riding. When you watch the world cups are they "drifting"? No, I only see drifting in stylized entertainment bike vids, hence I used the term superfluous to indicate their somewhat redundant nature. I think "drifting'' looks really cool, but must admit that it's a technique for very rare instances when speed is the actual goal. Skidding to setup a counter steer, or through a very flat corner like the one in your vid are examples where it'd actually be useful. I know, and knew the difference between drifting and skidding before I posted anything. Conclusion: your vid rocks, and so do your bountiful bike skills, 'just speaking my two cents.

at wasea04 who cares if he drifts or skids! he's enjoying a day on his bike and he killed it in this edit so instead of hating on his STYLE why don't you just give him props for a killer edit!

I was making a general statement in reference to a pattern I've seen develop in this sport, not "hating" on his style. Props were gratuitous in all of my responses, but I understand you've got to stand for up for one of you local bro's even though the premise upon which you've done so is nonexistent Big Grin
