for mine it depends on the screen your watching it on. my computer monitor is no HD so it comes out choppy, but on my friends mac it looks perfect. just try watching it on a TV or something

i know the sd card you use effects the video quality... is it a expensive sd card or not really expensive?

i have a ''high speed'' card. I dont really think it should affect the video quality compared to my last cam though

class 10 is the best for HD video. anything lower will affect the video quality.

is the brand class 10?

you only need class 10 for 0,5 sec timelapse. as long as you have class 4 or higher for filming it shouldn't effect the filming. but some memory cards won't really work that good with gopros.
