Thats like me saying football should be played like soccer, with your feet. There are disciplines for a reason. If you rode xc like dh it wouldn't be the beautiful art form it is, it would be trashing and bashing as hard as you could.

Sorry you're right, why would I ever want to compare soccer to any other sport, i'd hate to make it look bad. I should have used a real sport as an analogy, like golf. . I love it when other countries make fun of Americans as if they are all the same. Shows their ignorance!

Oh yeah, people who gain satisfaction from going fast on ANY bike? Pretty sure fixed gear riders and road riders go faster than anyone else, and you can't tell me that they don't get bashed on here day in and day out.
