 I think maybe a smaller travel bike wud maybe suit you, just to learn some key skills.

 I would agree, but as it was my first ride on the new build!!! And also its helped me get good racing results this year and givin it was my first year in downhill!!!! Ranked 69th Master in the UK outta 140 odd!!!
