Cheers Tim I'll have a look next time. I just wish I had a better camera for some great slow mo! Reckon I could make a really good one if the quality was there. Also if your interested I've made a camera zip line to run along side riders. When I tested it some of the footage was a little blurry due to vibrations, but if u fancy trying it or whatever let me know!

Yeah having a good camera definitely helps, although there have been plenty of VOD's made on not so good cameras!
You can still get rad slow-mo on your camera. You don't need more than 25fps, if you slow it down 60% it should still look smooth. As long as you keep the shutter speed quite high it should look good!
Rad! I've got something similar too. The best way to get rid of the vibrations is just to have the line a bit slacker as it then takes up a lot more of the shake. Having I.S on the camera helps a lot too!
What camera do you have just out of curiosity?

A Panasonic SD10, a general camcorder. It does do full 1080p, and looks great with the right lighting. So just gotta work on the quality of it now. I did pay a good £300-400 on it!

Just a few technical pointers:
When you go into the darker woods (if you can on your camera) you need to change the white balance. That way you'll get much much nicer colours. Normally you can just push a button and it will change. Just hold a piece of white paper in front of the lens and push the button and it will then make that colour the neutral colour.
What editing software are you using? If you can, you should be able to click a button that says "De-interlace source video" which basically will get rid of all those horizontal lines when the riders are moving through.
