Short vid of a section at Sherwood Pines.
Just a clip of me riding round Sherwood Pines Skills Park, seems slow, but was just takin it easy as it was the end of the day.
Looks slow, but felt a lot quicker for some wierd reason lol.

It's got elements of what is on all of the main trails in the forest, so mixture of whoopees, some rocky stuff and some North Shore like pieces. it is really a mish mash of bits and pieces to prepare new riders to what is out there and also for people to build thier confidence. Or in my case, thrash round the Pines through the Dirt Jump park, down a bermed DH run and a pure DH run on the hardtail Mongoose THEN do the Skills Park

Yeah, figured that out already, shift earlier after the turn and get more power down harder. The gear ratio is fine, just need to be shifting quicker mate.

Ah I wasn't criticising your ratios, I'm sure they are fine you just seemed to be spinning up a lot at the start

I know mate, found that out when I was goin round and then again lookin back at the vid. Need to really be in a better gear when comin off the slope into the first jump.

Yeah the higher the better really! Not sure if you're triple on the front but if so I'd say about mid ring front and something around mid/high at the back, always works good
