I'd highly recommend looking at what I did with mine:

A gimble system will always stay balanced. Make a universal joint system.

You need to make the overall unit much MUCH stronger. K'nex is extremely light weight, make the device beefy.

? does look great btw. you should put tape on the joints so the weight of the camera wont make it fall apart
