Pila - Aosta
An absolutely awesome trail from Pila resort down to Aosta. Even in the wet, the trail is super grippy and flowy.
I miss it, I want to go back :(

I only went for a day, so my knowledge is limited. I also only did the DH runs and the "Freeride" trail to Aosta (in vid). You get the gondola up from Aosta, stop in Pila and then can either continue up on the chair to the DH runs, or take the trail down to Aosta. I believe there is also some more singletrack stuff further up, but not sure how to get there (there are vids about with a pretty sketchy looking ridge ride!).
There are blue - red - black DH runs, all starting and finishing at the same point. Nothing was too technical, although the IXS had some pretty steep drops through tight trees. Some lovely berms, very well maintained and taped to follow. It also ran well in the wet, grippy, but I suspect could get pretty claggy with lots of rain.
Great place and it you fancy a change, La Thuile is just up the road which has some very scenic singletrack.

I want to go to Pila in August, too.
But i couldn“t find good information about the pila bikepark. Can you give me some information about it?
