Megavalanche CRASH 2012 Fireroad FAST with slow mo and still
Now I took a little grief when I uploaded this elsewhere, for not stopping. I expect some of you may feel the same.
That said it has been my most viewed vid for a good while!
Trying to get past as many people as possible but just accidently touched this guys bars a little and he went down. Hard, and my mate (JT with orange backpack on) also went down.
Sorry Guys, Just trying to race hard.

you should have taken a bunch more then a little grief, knocking over a rider when trying to pass in one thing. Completely neglecting the fact that you did it is a completely different story. Any respect that I would have had for you is completely lost.

It was an accident, he moves over on me as much as I move over on him. There were plenty of people and marshals around if he needed help.
However your entitled to your opinion, but at that point in the race I didn't see the need to stop (I would have if there hadn't been anybody around.
A longer edit of the race is here youtu.be/iDvUC_zFscs you can see many other people had been passed without issue. Not as if I was dangerous and irresponsible - just one of those things.

I didn't "do that" to anybody, it wasn't on purpose it was one of those things. Go back to the same situation and with hindsight seeing the gap close I would have tried to go on his right rather than left. But hindsight is a wondrous thing! I was glad I stayed on with my wobble, I also almost went down ..... as Dave above says the Mega is carange, especially the start and it is a race.
I'm sure the guy wished he hadnt drifted back to the left after the guy in front wen past too - but again, hindsight is great!
