Bass Lake, 007 Trail, and Angel Falls trip report with David Kries

007 Trail is roller coaster downhill in the mountains above Bass Lake in the Sierras. The terrain changes from redwood and pine forest at the top, to tunnels of manzanita through the middle section, to California sage at the bottom. Note the memorial to Erick Mendez. There's also a waterfall climb at the northwest corner of the lake called Angel Falls / Devil's Slides, and wakeboarding.
