Cleaning my bike
Just gave the bike a quick wash over - didn't bother to lube the chain since i didn't really use any detergent so the wet lube was still on there.

Just try to hose your bike down first before you use a rag or wash cloth to wipe it down. And use different wash cloths for your drivetrain and for your frame & fork.
As for the BB... I suggest you listen to your mechanic. Not really sure what your BB problem is.

but I am my mechanic, no body do heavy bikes around my town. I have to learn a lot stuff.

Coolorochi-what type of BB set-up in your bike? There are a lot of types of BB these days which means you would need also a lot of diffrent tools to be able to set them up properly.
and one time I found my crank had some wired noise, I drop two drop chain oil on the connection to BB , coz it's only thing I got that time, but some guys says my BB is now dead. do I need change my BB?
