For those of us unlucky enough to live in the Midwest this video is inspiring.
A zone is what you make of it.
With enough sweat-equity, creativity can trump vertical.

yeah, you have to be very creative to squeeze everything out of the hills to make it fun to ride

Have to agree with BadgerBacker, Living in South Dakota its definantly tough to find any DH trails, there is a bike park that opens once a month in the summer, so about 4 times a year we get real DH, but on the plus side we have a few (2 haha) really awesome local trails, it just shows that even though you dont have mountains you can still have some killer riding spots.
