It always drives me crazy seeing these talented riders riding without helmets it only takes a split second to split your head open when riding at this level. And sponsored riders on there promotional Welcome to Shasta video should be setting a example for up and coming young riders who look up to these guys and want to be just like them and then in turn do not wear helmets . I think Company's like Shasta should think of this before signing contracts and having riders promoting there brand. I have seen it at our local bowl Pro rider riding on a hot day with no helmet. Oh he had one just to hot or cool to wear it .My Bro shamed the guy into putting it on He said Dude all these little kids here look up to you and as soon as there moms leave they take off the helmets to look cool like the Pros .Set a example for them . The next day the guy comes up to my Brother and thanks him for the advice. Apparently after we left he had a little bobble over the spine and his head hit the ground so hard He said he would have been pretty screwed if not dead if he had not had the helmet on I know I am preaching but it is not something I feel strongly about and wish Company's like Shasta did also
