How did you like the DHbike?

Thanx bro! I did like the kona, although I think it was to weak at the rear end. ( I think just that with all the fully's I have ridden) I must say I really liked the fact that it has the suspension, that makes all the diference for my bad knee.. But this bike was still very much a toy wich I can throw around. ( me likey ) It's really nice to ride another bike from time to time. I came to the conclusion that my giant is way to heavy, and less to play around with.. it is actually more for extreme DH racing.

Great, learning and playing is what our sport it about! The rear feeling week could be a number of things. The Kona is actually known as a stiff ride. So, either your air pressure in the tire was too low or the rear suspension was too soft. I too grew up on HT'S like you so, I ride my full suspension bikes stiff, HT like stiff. It feels most natural to me, ahhhahahah RideOn!

Yes it is bro! The rear tirepressure was a bit low. But even if I pumped it up really hard, it wouldn't make a difference. For instance riding down the drop in this video, I had to hang above the rear wheel, and nut just a bit.. I also like a rully to be really stiff (and I also mean really stiff) I'm quite used to do all the work myself if you know what I mean. So I am looking out for a nice play around FR bike.. :-)

I do realize that a heavyer spring does increase the stiffness at the rearend!
