no not really they finish at the visitor center at the bottom and if you push up its easy to get to the top on fire roads. I normally only do the uplift when i visit an that takes you to the top of all the runs, its just a little pedal to get where i was at the start!

Yes you have to book in advance. The FlyUP team gets things done there, they say 15 runs a day, ive had 17 even 18 on good days they also run 2 minibuses on weekends. find them here: www.flyupdownhill.co.uk/booknow.php
