great vid Graeme, picked up this from a thread on pistonheads, i was researching the capra. I've just got back from FOD, it was a little on the slippy side yesterday but still great fun. Had two days of no rain, in December i thought that was pretty good. I took my Santa Cruz 5010 for the XC trails and my Commencal supreme for the DH. The 5010 was perfect but I'm not getting on with the Commencal and am thinking of selling it and going for something more all mountain - hence the Capra research.

Hey I've since sold my Capra. It was a good bike, but since I snapped on he first one, I just can't trust the replacement My first one was on of the very first bikes they made back in May 14, but I've fore ever had that mistrust in the back of my mind I like YT though, so bought an aluminium Tues 650b that I use now instead

Was it a hard landing that snapped it? I've not heard of anyone breaking one before. A little worrying for sure, hope the Tues is working out well for you.

No, not really. It was a small crack that just got bigger and bigger until all the carbon separated I kept an eye on it as I thought it was just the paint

How was the capra to ride there ?

It's perfect for that place. I did a couple of hours on the xc loops before hitting the downhill bits. I don't think you could find a bike better suited to FOD
