Hah, great that you have trails like that out there! Not that bumpy, perfect for kids. I already bought a bike with pedals to my girl but she gets too focused with pedaling and me holding her on a stick, just makes her lazy, she looks around too much. Everything in it's own time. I silently hope she will ride it herself though before she gets 3

Mine started shortly after 3. Same with my brother's kid. They get there. The one pictured here now drops curbs and goes one handed. Plus she stands up to climb and on bumps. She will be 5 soon though.
Hey, of you want to design bikes you should look at making good bikes for kids. The balance bikes opened a new niche. Parents want light reliable bikes for their kids. The closest thing to a good bike has 20" wheels and is for an 8 year old. That leaves 4 years of overweight junk bikes like the specialized hot rock.
I was thinking bushings instead of bearings and belt drives. Plus Geo that makes sense. All on this on a variety of frame sizes and wheel sizes.
