EDM spark erosion by Dämpfer-Klinik

Electric discharge machining on a AGIE RAM Type sinker machine - Tungsten-copper electrode against tool steel - roughing process. This process allows to machine hard materials and/or very special geometries (e.g. a star cavity - sharp edges cannot be milled). Depending on adjustments the machine is generating surfaces from rough to µm finish superfine matt.
