Was there at the weekend, a fawn walked out right at the barrier and stopped us and made us worried the mother would be along in a minute! Black trail was running great and this time of year no-one bothers with the long slog. Worth it for the Boundary trail though.

I've been down it plenty of times usually carrying a bit more speed. I wasnt fully committed and well.......

Seen a few squirells but no Deer down there! Cool! Yeah, the black is being left to rot it would seem. Off-piste stuff is so much better. Hopefully it will get a bit of money spent on it but not holding my breath.

I've done exactly the same. Moral of the story, let go of the brakes and take the straight line!
