Trevor, if you shoot in 1440 Wide it gives a very large and tall frame that can be trimmed to 1080 in GoPro Cinema and then you can choose exactly where the camera is looking in post production...I can show you how...

If the the camera angle was a bit more up so you could see in front, that would be much better. The video is really great though!!
