Just be careful the bright lights can damage the owl's eyes.

Source? Not challenging, just asking. A quick search reveals conflicting thoughts, most concerned with sudden flash photography, will will not only produce a much more powerful light source, but is also more sudden than gradually approaching continuous headlamps. Open to more info, cheers.
