HAHAHA, just bought a pair with this same problem, will try the spacer, havent had a single ride on them either, guess they're not paying those poor sons of bitches enough at the factory these days to build them right! Thanks!

its either the spring hitting the side of the stantions or something to do with the placement of the spring, if you bring it by the shop i can take a look at it

kk ill find a time to go to the shop..
but its not a big problem is it?
like nothing inside will be damaged?

its only during your small bump travel which means it may not be with compression.what about something small up top like your steer, head tube, or even too few of spacers
  • + 0
well, i took it off the bike and compressed it , still makes the noise so its the fork
  • + 0
if you had it rebuilt then that might be the cause. the springs might not have seated against the bump stops properly. happened to my manitou after rebuilt.

J'ai aussi ce bruit sur ma 2010, c'est sûr que c'est normal ?

rohan, c'était quoi exactement le problème ? C'est grave si on ne rajoute pas les entretoises (si spacers=entretoises)?

Merci !

doesnt sound great dude, u should maybe bring it in at MS and am sure someone can give u an answer
  • + 0
it doesnt but its brand new so i dont get what can be wrong.
also, the full compression makes no noises so i dont get what is wrong when you just compress a bit.
:S

maybe try playing with some of the knobs, compression rebound etc... might help

take out the coil spring and put some spacer maybe and put the coil under the spacer, my boxxer did the same thing
