MY buddies chain tensioner

 turns out cyclepath installed it wrong and it was actually faulty thats why it was skipping, it works beautifully now, thanks!!

 hahaha, i just had the same problem, you need to take the tensioner apart, and youll see that on the silver peice there is 2 holes to put the spring into, if you put in into the other hole on the silver peice, it will allow the tensioner to move all the way to the frame, aswell as holding that U lock ring inplace, then just take out a few links and your good to go. The Problem with yours is that the chain isnt ingaging on enough of the links on the cog on your rear wheel.

 i know you already got it done but mines was doing the exact same thing. i just took the tensionor off and took off a few links to make the chain fit perfect with no tensionor. then of course it was perfect.

 take a fiew links out the chain so its more parralel to the fram e

 and make shor all the 3 sprokets are elined bucous the tencena mite be out off line whitch will make it jump!!

 he got it sorted out.. these ones are not that good but it itsself was faulty.. thanks for your help everyone

 i had one my first one was broke wen they sent me it and the second one was skipping i couldn't take any more links out either it was as tight as it would go

 take a few links out dont take to many tho try 2 or 3 first

 hey that happened to me i just brought it in to the shop and they just ajusted it

 just take a couple links out. and true the rear hangar. most people don't realize how much of a difference that can make

 just get a new chain tensor i had the same one and it snapped 2 times.

 maybe remove some links i have the same one so try it out

 if its an axiom tensioner its probably bent lol

 those ones suck completely take it of and remove enough links so that it can just go around the gear

 its bolted on too?

 Good lord are those forks big enough?
