 the mendips, in somerset

 Can you be more specific? (no worries if it's a private track)...I'm in Taunton so it's fairly local.

 Type in longbottom on google maps click the first one (shipham) this road will lead you to a farm called Tynings Farm you can access the mendips by going through the farm. maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wl . Park on the road next to the farm you'll see other cars parked there probably. See the dirt path that goes through the farm and into the woods, you want to go down that path and then when it splits into three take the upper path, follow this until you come to a crossroads, the christmas tree track is on the crossroads.
