Magura Freeride Fork Thor
German brake-experts from Magura annonunced a new freeride fork last week. The OnepointFive-only fork will be named "Thor" and will be available in a thru axle version only. Suspension will be adjustable from 110-150 mm.
Estimated start of delivery is around november. The German engineers say the fork will only weigh around 2.4 kg (5.3 lb), due to a carbon-fibre/aluminium construction. Unusual: the fork has an double-arch, which is supposed to improve stiffness. Rebound damping wil be adjustable sepearte for high and lowspeed ("Albert Plus") which may provide better climbing abilities. There was nothing said about Thor's pricing yet.
