 I know that they are great riders, and i can't even compete with them, but doesn't it look like everything is slowed down like 3x or something like that? I know there not going slow but it kinda looks slowed down in the video..

 Yeah, there's definitely something wrong with the quality in this one. Really stuttery... is this something to do with the shutter speed or the camera... or Pinkbike??? Makes it almost painful to watch... if it wasn't for the sick trail and the great riding Wink

 Hey Guys, I did slightly slow motion the entire vid, the shots were captured in 30fps and then changed to 24fps to give it more of a mellow vibe. It ends up being about 80% of the original speed, so in no means are these dudes slow.

If your having issues with the playback, it may be due to your computer or your internet connection.

Glad you enjoyed it!

 No i have no issues with it, i was just inquiring to see if i was the only video-challenged person watching it. There giving her for sure though.

 I think they just ride with a lot of flow. they seem to know the track really well and it feels like you cannot go much faster on that technical trail.
Its kinda what happens to gee atherton when he's doing a good run (compared to others)

 Ahhh that makes a lot of sense. They looked fast but at the same time sort of slow, like suddenly there was less gravity on the world. It was mega confusing haha

 i would say they wanted it to look slow thats why it is slow, but if they ride slow in this video has nothing to do with their riding skills at all. (if they were fast they would go more into the berms)

 @hillatoppa

Thats a pretty insulting comment if you ask me. Calling a video of this camber "painful to watch" is absurd. And The fact you questioned the shutter speed of the camera is also quite comical. Before you start critiquing people with such vexing words maybe figure out what you are actually critiquing the filmer on.

 Insulting??? Sorry if you got your knickers in a knot there Dylan. I think the word you're looking for is 'caliber'- camber is a curve or an angle, like the way a road or a trail slopes off.
I was merely giving my personal opinion of the video. Nothing absurd about that at all. For me this clip wasn't easy on the eyes. I found the footage very stuttery, which is why I questioned the shutter speed and the camera used. Nic's explanation of how/why he slowed the footage down was also helpful in understanding why it looked like that Wink

 I just don't think its such a great choice to put downhill riding at 80% the speed rather than real time or 50% or something, because I can't really tell if they are slow or its slowed down. If my eyes are right then I notice you tend to do this in a bunch of other videos too, like dirt jumping ones, like the winter depression one. It still gets a bit trippy when things are slowed down a very slight amount that we can't tell very easily, but not so bad for dj stuff. but for downhill, you want the riders to look fast and stuff so that's why I think you should stick with real time or a noticeable slow motion. going for a more mellow vibe is cool and all, but in my opinion your gonna have to achieve that a different way, thats just what I think!

 So uh, bird noises and water drop sounds? Water drop sounds? Really, I have to have that much detail to make a video these days!? JK man super tasty edit, got me stoked to ride and that's what an edit should do! Quality filming and riding, I approve.

 that was awesome! your getting up there with Larock and Silvia! keep up the good work man! looking forward to seeing your next edit! tup

 IMHO nic's work from a cinematography stand point is already above Silvia, and I think corrct me if i a wrong he has been around longer than Silvia aswell, so more properly said, I think Silvias is getting "up there" with nic's work.
Just my perspective, loved the video! Nice audio work in the beginning that really stood out for me.
