Silvia at Sun Peaks Bike Park - Justin Terwiel
It's been an exciting season at Sun Peaks, unfortunately now it's closed as they prepare for the winter season. Let this video of Justin get you pumped for next year!
My name is Justin Terwiel. I am 25 years old and I am from Kamloops, BC, Canada. I ride for the Bicycle Cafe, Giant, Oakley and Troy Lee designs. Aside from my riding life of racing, filming and coaching, I am currently completing the last semester of my business degree in France, have a coaching business and love to play guitar, ski, surf, dirtbike and volunteer for various causes I believe in. My last two seasons have been fraught with injury (a big thank you to my sponsors for your support and patience), and this year I really was unable to compete while coming back from a knee surgery and back injury as well as having complications with tendonitis and nerve damage in my wrists. Fortunately I was able to get back on my bike at the end of the summer and felt good enough to meet up with the Silvia boys at Sun Peaks to put together a web edit. I grew up at Sun Peaks and absolutely love riding there. Hopefully this edit expresses my love for the resort, my bike and for life. A big thank you to Karl Heldt and Matt Miles of Silvia Productions and Royce Sihlis of Royce Sihlis Photography (www.roycesihilis.ca) for their hard work and creative collaboration on this project, to Sun Peaks Resort for its positive impact in my own as well as many other lives, and to my sponsors for enabling me to pursue my passion.
