The elusive zone. It waits for no one. You are either one with it—in sync at every stroke, every angle, every apex, every compression; or in pursuit of it—seeking that magical place where physical and mental states meld effortlessly into the perfect ride.
You’ll find it in Garbo Zone. Where the tangled roots of In Deep blend into mind twisting rock gardens with rock crevasses and drops that challenge the most skilled rider on a rainy day. You’ll find it in the balancing act of the never ending bridges on Fatcrobat as they twist and hug trees at the narrowest of points. And you’ll find it on Blue Velvet where sculpted jumps flow seamlessly into packed berms and smooth wooden wall rides.
This is Garbanzo Zone. The big brother of Fitz zone. Higher, steeper and more rugged than its predecessor. It may well be the perfect height – not too high to hit the thin air of the high alpine but high enough to keep summer temperatures cool and comfortable. The sweet spot on a summer’s day.
Find your zone. Go, chase it down.
More zones are ready to be explored. Did you miss Fitz Zone? The original zone. Where the perfectly formed rhythm of rollers flow into sculpted jumps and densely packed berms. Check it out here:

That's interesting, because I rode Blue Velvet last week and all I found were brake bumps mating with brake bumps and having brake bump babies.
