Nino NOOOOO!!!! Ugh he was so pinned on the last descent, right up til that last turn. I thought for sure he had it with the huge gap he opened up. Another fantastic race though, this season is great.

Isn't it the same situations as it happened at the previous round? Man, that difference...

Yeah podium for Emily! Way to go! Gunn Rita is having a great season. But I'm curious, isn't Sabine Spitz on any team?? It's very unlikely.
  • 1 1
 Is Gunn Rita really 42?
  • 3 0
Yes she is. She has been in the world cup circuit since the late 90s.

Just cause you get married and have kids doesn't mean you have to be all washed up. Too many people use age as a excuse.

I still dont understand why Neff is racing elite and Rissveds U23 though both would be U23...

U23 riders can decide if they want to race in elite category. And Neff chose to.

Elite class also does one more lap than U23.

Did a privateer really win the u23 men or is he on a non-listed team?

Nope. MMR team, Spain rock. Vamos España ! The problem 'bout Spain is that people aren't very proud about their country. We are the nemesis of french and cie. By the way, MMR are bikes from Spain.

Absalon's attitude when the race finished wasn't the best, at least he could have hug nino because of the battle they held.

Next year Olympics in Brazil brazilian riders are doing good hope next year a brazilian medal???
  • 2 4
I bet if Nino keeps coming in second he's going to switch back to 29er.
  • 3 0
lol i bet not, He's already won overall and Championship on 650B a couple times.

I've always been curious to see what he could do on a 29er today though... He's obviously used to and prefers a 27.5, however I wonder what he could do on a larger wheel on a course like this.
  • 1 0
I'm sure it doesn't matter. With 27.5 wheels though he has lighter rotational weight and lighter rig overall so that would help if anything.
