In this Episode: Blake Jorgenson has an impressive resume as a professional photographer. From the days of Kranked and shooting the first tracks down A-Line, Blake has since witnessed a lot of change in the mountain bike world, along with the shift from shooting film to digital. He’s adapted in fine fashion but is one of the few photographers still shooting film at all, something that says a lot about both his style and intentions. Most importantly, what hasn’t changed is his approach to shooting photos - enjoying the experience is the priority.

Pemberton is great! We rode there last week, the Bike Co. has some of the nicest employees I've ever dealt with, even if they are in too good of shape to give trail advice to someone as weak as me, which still turned out great. Make sure you grab a pastry from Blackbird Bakery, some awesome pastries and sandwiches from some very cute French girls!

Thank you Blake, for sharing that wisdom about MTB's being tools for adventure. Its a great way to think about riding even if your riding out your back door. I usually mostly think about going faster and landing further but the memories that stick out are the ones I've shared with friends exploring new trails. Big up Pemby, you hot little town with your spicy Mt Currie, and its pencils of pow, pow. PS I miss the 2 acre booty shaker...

Vevia 50 One of my fave slide films. Thats 50 iso. There was also some iso 1400 Black and white film that was sweet. I dont miss film mind you. Not at all.

I still dabble in film (mainly 4x5), and have some 400 and 1600 Fuji in the fridge and keep wondering if it'd be fun to do a grainy 35mm MTB album. That could be interesting!

Velvia 50 was THE film. Used to run it in all my cameras including a Hasselblad. Amazing stuff. I miss working in B&W and printing/developing on my own, but I don't miss the cost and inconvenience of film.

Love these videos shows a great insight into how photographers working with mountain bikers operate.
Anyone know what camera bag he's using?

Great video. I love watching people descend some dodgy terrain with $10K+ of camera gear in a pack on their pack.
