I read remember reading the best way to get considered for a pod is to make a blog post with the photo, although that was a few years ago.

Photo of the year 2016. Lighting. Composition. Content. It's an all around fantastic photograph. I'd put that on my wall.
Anyone know how to vote for a pic to become photo of the day? How did this shot get the honour for instance, is it just luck while a moderator is paging through or what?
