Selected by Sterling Lorence - Nice whip in some sick terrain! Gotta love the west coast of BC for its burly falline, huge mountains and progressive trail builders. Everybody wants an A-line in their home town...
Anyone else notice that it's in a national park? I mean incredibly sick picture and I love illegal trails as much as the next rider but I think it's a tad iffy for a mountain biker to build a trail in a preserved national park... but that's just me.
For those complaining about England having no chairlifts, you're right but at the forest of dean there is a bus with a HUGE bike trailer that takes you to the top. Otherwise its a 30 min push back up.
Nice angle on that jump to get Mt Habrich in the background. And good work on getting that jump ready to ride too, it looks good to go now! I took a look at were the tire tracks were on that landing and was surprised to see them way way down there. And we are trying to make are trails much better than any MTB park ever could, for ourselves and everyone else. Just remember to ride within your limits and if you go down, never point your finger at anyone but yourselves my friends. If we live by this simple rule their will always be progressive trails for everyone. Nice whip 2
I thought this was a huge turndown to be honest when i first saw it. I still love this picture. whips are the sickest tricks ever. shows true style. and @mooseduck13- i definitely understand how it is bro. Atleast your on that side of the US so you're alot closer than i am. I hope to ride in BC one day
"Everybody wants an A-line in their home town..." - uh what ? This is big mountain singletrack, what has A-Line, a 12-foot wide paved road, got to do with anything?
that is a wide jump in the middle of a clear cut .. jumps like this are not randomly sitting on so called big mountain single track. even if they were and you put a few in succession pretty soon you would have an A-line ..
Sick shot, Would say its epic, but everyone use's it to much. So I'll just stick with sick. Fair play to the rider to throw down such a big whip. Great POD.
