Selected by Ian Hylands - Wow, loving the mood and drama of this shot. We've seen a few roost shots before, but they're usually wet mud or dry and dusty. This one really brings to mind the east coast loam that is flying up off of this tire... Great light as well, not overly lit, just enough to clearly see what is going on. The way it really is...

great dynamic in this photo... one photo that is not so easy to realize, more than this in a world cup race where riders are really fast... perfect focus that give the idea of the rider escaping fast from that point, the light on the dirt that is exploding, I think filtered between the trees, is awesome ... great job!!!
