Pinkbike Poll: What Do You Carry to Fix a Flat Tire?

Having an insert is not much help when you can't plug the tire. Yes, you can ride the bike until home. And then start taking down the tire, new tire, fit the insert, maybe some tubeless solution, pump it and probable it will be good. No insert - on the side of the trail take the plugs out and try to fix the puncture. It worked? Ride on. No? then take out the tube put inside the tire - ride on. For me insert are worth it if you're racing and you need to finish the race. I don't want to get home and start repairing the tire ( and a lot of the tire inserts are a pain to mount). Yes you could say, take it to a shop. Nahh, I'm too cheap with my time and money.

Fort William 2013: MacLennan Photo Epic

I'm wondering if Gwin on 20 isn't a strategy. Maybe he just wants to motivate the others because last year was a battle for 2nd place, with him being so constant . Anyway I like seeing competition and not a one man show.Let's hope Gee won't take Gwin place.
