The G2 is an easy setup with easy to follow instructions. I've used the E13 LG1 for a few seasons before I got the MRP G2 and like the quietness and reliablility of the G2 better...not to mention its strong as hell. Great product to add to your dh race rig or use on any 1x setup in my opinion.

The bash guard on this chain device saved me having to fork out for a new frame as a result of a massive stack in les arcs. The boomerang bent and the plastic guard remained absoultely solid meaning that the rock in question did not touch the frame itself at all. Thank you MRP!

Brilliant chainguide! never dropped a chain and looks the part too, the taco has saved my chainring many times from rocks and logs and chavs. only problem is that one of the bolts rounded on me resulting in hours of drilling it out and me having ot botch together another bolt. id recomend it though!

This thing came with my Orange 224 evolution. It's have been working well so far. I've had feg bad hits on this thing and it has held it's ground. I would buy a new one if it would go broken.

pretty reliable chainguide, never dropped my chain, just a little bit loud but who cares about that? e13 LG1 is a bit lighter for the same price but not as reliable as the mrp g2 in my opinion!

It's light and it works! Setup was fast and I haven't had to touch it since I've installed it. And even with a few good smacks in some gnarly rock gardens too!

I never tried the LG1 and never will, I have found the best chain Guide/Guard. I have hit it on rocks and logs and it has not bent yet. Truly a superior Product!

I've ridden my G2 for 2 years and have never dropped my chain. I'm running a 38t ring. It's light, fairly cheap and looks good. Thumbs up from me

way better than the e 13 light guide the g2 is way stronger and has a better skid plate the old down side to it is that it is more expensive than the e 13

Amazing product. Looks better than the lg1 with the hole in the top guide and the bashguard that protects the bottom roller aswell as the chainring/chain 10/10

If you get the steel backplate version, you're getting a quality chainguide, easy set-up, noise free piece of kit with a minimum weight penalty. Great guide!

Best chain guide. PERIOD. Look no further if you want race track reliability and can't afford to not finish a race run. Don't let a jammed chain ruin a weekend or a season.

Been using it for a little over 2 months now. No problems what so ever, so far. I run it via the bottom bracket mount on my 2001 Intense M1
