What do you do if your friends have to work and no time to go out for a ride with you? A Partner like Rusty has always got time and always wants to go out and play with you!

Bam n Rusty 2014

Get Ready for Round three: Also this time the 4xWheel Drive Dog wants to be faster and overtake his Daddy "Bam Hill" If you want to be faster than Rusty you need a bag full of grip and technique, because Rusty has a perfect chassis set-up and lots of traction with his spikes.

Bam n Rusty 2014

In the beginning of his life as a traildog, he had to learn the rules. But now he is perfect - he knows where the bikers are riding and how fast they are, you never have to be frightened that he is crossing your line. He is always behind you or he is trying to pass you while he is using his ways through the scrub.

Bam n Rusty 2014

Rusty always wants to be with you and follow your back wheel, Doesn't matter if there are some Northshores in his way! But you have to be careful with your dog while learning these things. He has to do it step by step!

Hahah the bit at 2:00 was so wicked, classic dog line! Most of the time I reckon that dog was holding back, coulda gone faster. Sweet looking dog too. If I was the dog it'd annoy me always running down hill though, up would be better

He's cute as all hell. Aren't you afraid you'll hit him or he'll run into you?

Great video bamhill. It's nice to see a video with realistic riding and a great sound track. Well done. That dog of yours is awesome.

Forget about what bike he is riding, what kind of dog breed is this? Looks like a really playfull and friendly dog. Love my Leo to death, but he's just a lazy bastard who won't even go out for a walk when the weather isn't perfect XD

100% focused on the rider, not where his paws are and doesn't trip on a single root.

Clocked that as well, a perfect how to technique example .

Conflicted reaction to Rusty's line choice, either:
1. Taking the Sam Hill or Danny Hart lines = sweet!
2. Taking the "Strava" lines = cheater!

Haven't tried DH yet with my German Shepard but she rips it around the local BMX track and faster than most riders there.

I love my dog. But i hate dogs on the trail. I don't care how well you claim they are trained.

what are your feelings on small children? they're about the same height and just as likely to jump out of nowhere.
  • 5 0
lol, no small children are much worse

Children are okay if they are on a bike. I hate some of these local families who take their small children on hikes on the bike trails. There are hundreds of hiking trails in my state that bikes are NOT allowed on. There are much fewer bike trails for us to ride on. I don't get it.

Totally agree, its the same way where i'm from. But we've got a bigger problem with horses than kids, there's probably four horse ranches within 3 miles of our local trails that have acres of land and back woods trails that would be just fine for a horse to shit on, but people decide to take the stomping shit factories right up the few DH runs we have in the area because its the most direct route to the top of the mountain, effectively turning fast, fun single track into a danger zone. Unless you don't mind plowing through the huge piles of conveniently laid crap and getting the stuff sprayed all over your nice bike, riding gear and face... you have to slowly pick your way around it and hope you don't run up on one of the horses. Because if being covered in their shit isn't insult enough the things will try to kick you clean off your bike if slightly startled.
