Surviving Nepal On a Bike

How can anybody be calling these guys "prepared"? Get a god damned satellite phone! I lack the words to describe how dumb it is to not carry one when you go hiking in Nepal. Damn near every Nepalese tour guide website states that they send a satellite phone out with every group. How could no-one have known where you were? Just borrow one from the 80 other people at the tea-hut and tell someone, anyone, where you are going. All my experience is in the Australian outback so I'm not even going to start on the weather, but UncleGroOve's comments seem sensible.

Pinkbike Poll: Words and Photos vs Video

It just depends on if I'm looking for information or entertainment. Entertainment is usually better in video form, information is usually better in written form where I can slowly read what is important and skip over what doens't matter. Whenever information (how to fix something, for example) is stuffed in a video I have to skip back and forward and pause a lot, which drives me nuts.

Red Bull Rampage 2014: Results

Watching the stream of it, Herbertson's and Godziek's runs were pretty similar, but Godziek kept better flow and better tricks, yet Herbertson scored better. I could totally understand Godziek thinking what is the point in risking another run when he didn't think he would be scored fairly.

Red Bull Rampage 2014: Results

Doesn't matter that Pinkbike posted the bloody results, if you were trying to watch the dvr stream from Redbull.com, they just cut it out without warning (I had only seen the first 20 minutes when it cut out!), and when you tried to reload the page all it would bloody show is the damn leaderboard with the final results! And now I can't find any way to get back to the video! DAMN YOU REDBULL! WAVE RAMPAGE IN MY FACE THEN STEAL IT AWAY FROM ME! GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER!

Don't think it was Aggy or the others on that line, their line is pretty much straight down, Wil turns left and seems to head to the edge of the course, pretty far away from them.

Ha, you're right on there, the commentator didn't even try to pronounce it properly. I don't like these commentators, they speak like they are on a TV ad selling water pistols to 10 year old boys; they overdo it and sound fake.
