Our OZtober celebrations began in style in Perth, Western Australia, where 30 competition winners were invited to join Team CRC/Nukeproof rider Sam Hill for an end of season hang out.

The first of our events Down Under gave fans the chance to put their questions to the great Australian downhill rider, and Pinkbike were also there to capture the action, chat to Sam about his first season on Team CRC/Nukeproof and ask questions submitted by CRC and Pinkbike readers.

To celebrate this first event in OZtober, we ran a competition where you could win a Nukeproof Mega AM 275 Comp. Sam picked the winner during our hang out…who was Matthew Finney. Congratulations Matthew!

Grant Norris, CRC Global Head of Events said: “What an event to start the OZtober season! Everyone had a brilliant time, and thanks to Sam who took time with all his fans and was more than happy to answer all the questions put forward by CRC customers, Pinkbike readers and the crowd tonight.

What happened to the top question in the pinkbike poll about Gwynny losing all his speed on Sam's old specialized team ???
I reckon this questions were pre selected by pink bike. So let's not have ask any pot questions again he you guys are not going to select the ones with big hits.
