Photo Recap: Kamikaze Pro GRT - California
@leafyboss: Very common trick in DH racing is to use electrical tape and wind the two cables together and over the crown steerer so the derailleur hose doesn't rub the plate.

@endlessblockades: Talking about LAX, Route 395, but Route 120 from the Bay is an absolute treat.

World Cup on DC-10 would be the race of the decade. Main problem is that Mammoth is 5 horrible hours of driving from the closest International Airport.

Tariffs on Chinese Bicycles & Parts Will Begin Next Week
@PaulLehr: My service department has shifted noticeably to building direct-to-consumer brand frames/completes and maintenance volume is rising across the board. Financially, LBS's run profits for at least 10 more years. All works out, I'll ride my frame until it snaps and build up a new frame from a local fabricator.

@jaame: Intense is separated from Santa Cruz at this time, both brands F+R triangles are imported from "Taiwan" (Read- China) and Santa Cruz linkages put together in the US.

@ShempHoward: People putting their money where their mouths are is the biggest problem. I know my next bike will be welded (or baked, Waki) in America, but even while all bikes are approaching the same size and axle path, brand loyalty is a powerful force nowadays. Will take a big player (Trek, Santa Cruz, Yeti, Giant) bringing it home to change the market.

@trails801: They are the most prominent example of a brand abandoning the USA only for cheaper production costs overseas.
