Video: Are E-Bikes For REAL Mountain Bikers?
@mhoshal: Hey, I've been on this site since 2000. They stapled a motorcycle question to the door of a bicycle enthusiast site. I say the same thing when Jalopnik, Autopian, or R&T posts the same type of nonsense.

Fairly certain, like 100%, that I opted out of E-trash articles. Not sure why this crap keeps rearing its wretched head.

HQ Tour: BrakeAce - The World's First Brake Power Sensor & App Combo
For this amount of buck-a-roos, I'd be purchasing some sweet Trickstuff brakes and over brake with joy!

First Look: Mondraker's Downcountry Hardtails
@matyk: The 64 degree head angle w/ 140mm fork on my Dawley is the best handling and technical climbing bike I've had yet! It's really super good here in the Hudson Valley steep / rock / root laden trails

Destination Showcase: Pocahontas County, West Virginia
"This trail does end at the bottom of the west end of the bike park, so if you have an e-bike or a shuttle, you’re in good shape" Does this trail leave you 50+ miles away from the trail system or something? You could have just said you have a bit of pedaling to do, on the bicycle that you're supposedly riding..... highly doubt an e-bike is warranted. Silly sentence.

Hunt Releases New 'Proven' XC & Enduro Carbon Wheels
@taskmgr: I cracked my rear Roval Control carbon rim earlier this month. Notified Specialized, and was told to take the rear wheel to my "preferred" Specialized dealer. Since I don't have a preferred dealer (bought wheels online), I took them to the nearest shop that was open. They had no idea about anything. After a week of no info from Specialized, I decided that I needed a secondary (cheap) wheelset just to get me back on the trail. Upon much browsing, I decided on the HUNT Trail Wide 29 Wheelset, at a smidge below $500. I've been pleasantly surprised by how much I like the rear wheel and it's been handling the NE rocks like a champ. Finally got word yesterday from the bike shop that my rear wheel is ready for pick-up, but they didn't tell me much of what was done (entirely new wheel or just a new rim?). Guess I'll find out this weekend. Long story short, I really like the Roval Controls when they aren't cracked, but the Hunts are an incredible value, for at least the Trail Wides that I got.
