First Ride: We Are One Arrival - A Canadian-Made Carbon Enduro Bike
Looks good! Nice design packaging and damn I'm glad to see some more stuff built here in North America, with as much local sourcing as possible. A) Tougher than a GG Revved frame? Aa) 29 only? C'mon. Aaa) Does a CK headset qualify as "bespoke"? Not even the best headsets in the game, by far. B) Is this next gen carbon layup and molding? I'm good friends with top level motorsport (think WRC and LeMans) and hand laid carbon is really a joke these days. and.... C) Holy shit, those prices.

Kona Dawg w/upgrades

$1000 USD
Time to thin out the herd in preparation for a new season. What I'm offering up is my faithful trail hound. She and I have been on many great adventures and she's got lots of life left for play and exploration. She has quite a few scratches from many seasons of good, hard fun, but she was never crashed hard and has no dents. The old girl has been ridden in XC races, Enduros, has spent tons of time riding up and down the East Coast, and even a little lift service here and there for good measure. She's dialed and tuned and fully ready to rip. I have always given her complete overhauls every season and this winter was no exception. New cables and housing, serviced the headset, frame, wheel, and bottom bracket bearings, fresh oil in the fork, fresh damper service on the rear shock, new brakes all around, and a new rear tire. See below for the full specs. 17" Scandium RaceLight frame, 130mm rear wheel travel 2010 Rock Shox Revelation Race fork (Dual Air) set at 140mm travel w/ 20mm Maxle Lite axle, serviced and Enduro seals installed Fox Float RP2 rear shock, Push Tuned in 2014 w/ aggressive revalve set for 155 lb rider, upgraded with 5-piece Fox bushing set Brand new Hayes Dyno Comp brakes, 185mm front, 160mm rear Cane Creek 100 headset (Made in the US of A!) Video: West Coast Riding Sometimes Bites Back
I was just thinking that. Tucked the chin, threw the shoulder down and executed a very nice forward ukemi.

Day 1 Race Report: WTB East Coast Showdown Enduro
Awesome weekend! Had a blast despite a hard crash on Stage 2 and scrambling to keep it together without a crash from there on! Can't wait for Killington #2!

Ask Us Anything With Kona Bicycles - Fit, Geometry, Kinematics
Umm, last time I checked kinematics wasn't a catch-phrase. It's the study of physics that relates to motion of points and systems. AKA defining how a suspension system works.

5.10 Freerider VXi, Used 4-5 times

$50 USD
Size 9.5 Charcoal/Black Bought these and used them for about two weeks, maybe 4 or 5 rides. Basically like new! I liked the grip, but did not like the fit of the shoe in the end. I will ship USPS anywhere in the US. Buyer pays shipping costs. Should be around $10.

Video: A Classic Refined - The 2013 Kona Shred
I owned a fairly heavily upgraded '04 Shred, then acquired and upgraded an '05 Shred which I just sold this year. They are really fun bikes...definitely greater than the sum of their parts. I remember doing urban riding on it...taking it to dirt jumps, and ripping up some fun singletrack on it...embarrasing supposedly better bikes. I like the upgrades to the geometry in the current version, especially the shorter chainstays, as it wasn't the easiest bike to manual. As for the looks? I think it looks fine...I care more about how fun it is to ride, and this one looks like a fun little firecracker. I think the price is a bit high given the spec, but not outrageously so. Maybe they will offer it as a frame? that would be sweet. I wish they made a sliding dropout conversion...then it really would become a jack of all trades.
