Qualifying Highlights: Pietermaritzburg DH World Cup #1
This is what happens when Stevie busting an ankle doesn't make it to the front page of PB. He's out for the first (and maybe second) round(s) after casing a gap a few weeks back.

Press Release: Giant Says 27.5 Glory is on the Way to Production
@daugherd nailed it. The Reign X1 looks like a great bike, but that colour scheme...... pass.

Video: Clementz and Cruz Pull the Trigger
I'm a big guy (6'4", 210lbs) and Lefty-equipped Cannondales have been my cross country race bikes since I started racing. I had a 26" one for six years, and sold it for a 29er two years ago. Both have been incredible bikes. ...Oh and having lockout right at your fingertips doesn't hurt either. ;)

Life In The Loops - A Bicycle Store, But To Me A Bit More
It's my dream to run a store like the one described in the opening paragraph. My father, brother and I have thought about it for years.. A place where riders come not just for what they need to put on their bike, but where they find like-minded people and where they actually enjoy spending time. Thanks again Dylan, your column never fails to stoke.

First Ride: Air-Sprung Fox 40 Float RC2 Fork – The Truth is Revealed
I always loved the "plastic internals" argument. Do you really think a brand selling a $1700 fork aimed at people either skilled or with deep enough pockets to buy it just *skips right on over* the engineering of materials that go into these things? The game is weight vs. strength vs. function and I'll guess that these guys pick the materials that work best. No, it isn't for everyone. Yes, it is okay to be bitter than we aren't sponsored and have to pay for the stuff we use. But please, save the "plastic internals" pitch for when we bash on Marzo junior-Ts from 2002... not here.
