Oct 15, 2022Trailcraft Maxwell 26
$2100 USDI’ll assume that if you’re looking at this listing, you’ve already know about Trailcraft, but here’s a link to the Trailcraft Maxwell 26 page: https://www.trailcraftcycles.com/product/maxwell-26/
Trailcraft is known for making lightweight, full suspension bikes for kids. According to Trailcraft, the Maxwell 26 is meant for (lucky) kids that are 4’-7” to 5’-2” in height. I think it’s more like 4’-4” to 4’-11”, so don’t be concerned if your child is a little on the small side of the height range that Trailcraft specifies. For my son, this bike fit well from age 9 to age 11.
The bike has been very well maintained. Our family has a lot of bikes and I pride myself in how well maintained they all are. Shifting is perfect, brakes are perfect. Everything is working perfectly. The bike has several cosmetic blemishes like you would expect on a kids bike, but they are all minor and cosmetic only.

I’ll assume that if you’re looking at this listing, you’ve already know about Trailcraft, but here’s a link to the Trailcraft Maxwell 24 page: https://www.trailcraftcycles.com/product/maxwell-24/
Trailcraft is known for making lightweight, full suspension bikes for kids. I was AMAZED at how quickly my son’s skill level progressed when he went from a 20” Front Suspension bike to this 24” Full Suspension bike.
We bought this bike in November of 2018. My son has ridden it for 3 seasons. He was 7 years old when we bought it. He’s 10 now, and has just moved up to a Trailcraft Maxwell 26. It has always fit him well, so I would say it would fit an average sized kid from age 6-11. Trailcraft says it fits 4’2”-4’-8”, but I think it’s probably more like 4’0”-4’-8”.
The saddle is torn on the nose, but in good condition at the contact points.

@wingguy: Gangs are a problem in Blue states, with "gun control". California, Illiniois, etc. You don't hear about gang problems in Kentucky, Tennessee, Wyoming, Oklahoma, Montana, etc.
